Jan Punter

Jan Punter possesses extensive experience in the technology sector, having served as Chief Technology Officer at Nottinghamshire County Council since September 1998, where responsibilities include leading the ICT Strategy and overseeing application and infrastructure teams. Prior roles include Technical Design and Build Manager, focusing on the implementation of new ICT technologies, and managing the Corporate Applications support and development team as a Technical Specialist and Team Leader. Previous experience includes GIS development as a Senior Analyst Programmer and a Research Assistant role at the British Geological Survey. Jan Punter holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Sciences from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences and has further education from the University of Leicester and Jan Heidema Middelbare Landbouwschool.
