Kay Massingham

Kay Massingham has over three decades of extensive experience in public health and commissioning, currently serving as the Public Health and Commissioning Manager at Nottinghamshire County Council since April 1994. Key responsibilities include public health needs assessment, action planning, project development and management, and commissioning, with a current focus on smoking and tobacco control. Former roles include leading the Covid response service and managing various public health initiatives. Prior to Nottinghamshire County Council, Kay worked at Leicester City Council and Reading Borough Council, contributing to community engagement and program implementation. Educational qualifications include a forthcoming postgraduate certificate in Public Health from The University of Sheffield and several other degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Foreign Languages from the University of Leicester.
