Al Pascale has extensive work experience in the field of ecommerce. Most recently, they served as the Director of Digital Products & Strategy at Nourison, where they were responsible for managing and maintaining the company's product catalog and overseeing the Magento/Adobe Commerce 2.0 website. Al also managed a team of professionals and worked with external agencies to ensure the success of growth tasks and project sprints. Prior to that, Pascale held the position of Director of Ecommerce at Hotels at Home for nearly a decade. In this role, they led a technical team and successfully maintained and improved over 40 global websites. Al also played a key role in driving incremental revenue through paid advertising and comparison shopping engines, as well as the selection of a new email service provider. Pascale's earlier experience includes working at Freestyle Solutions, where they served as the Director of Ecommerce and Ecommerce Solutions Engineer. In these roles, they had ownership of an in-house hosted Ecommerce solution, managed the development process using agile product management, and handled sales and custom development projects. Al also provided technical support and maintenance for SMB merchants using the hosted Ecommerce solution.
Al Pascale completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2003. Al pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master's Certificate in the Management of Technology in 2016-2017. Later, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in an unspecified field of study, from the New Jersey Institute of Technology between 2016 and 2020.
In terms of additional certifications, Al Pascale obtained the "Salsify Foundations Proficiency" certification from Salsify in July 2022. Furthermore, they obtained the "What Is Generative AI?" certification from LinkedIn in July 2023.
