Binaya Sabata

Binaya Sabata has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of supply chain management and logistics. Binaya began their career at Welspun India Ltd. as a Senior Officer in Export Commercial. Binaya then worked at Hindalco Industries Ltd. as an Assistant Manager in Communication and Logistics, where they were responsible for end-to-end domestic and export operations. Binaya then joined Reliance Industries Limited, where they held multiple roles including Supply Chain Operations Manager for the Polymer Business and Deputy General Manager of Operations for Chemical Vessel Operations. In these roles, they managed overall operations, coordination with various agencies, and deployment and export planning. After that, they worked at UPL as a Global Operations Lead, overseeing supply chain planning and operations. Currently, they hold the position of Logistics Lead at Nouryon, where they are responsible for global supply chain management, transformation, and digitization.

Binaya Sabata holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Punjab Technical University, which they completed in 2008. Binaya also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Utkal University in 2006. In 2009 and 2010, they pursued an Advanced Certificate in Management with a specialization in Operations Management from All India Management Association (AIMA). Additionally, in 2010, they completed a Certificate Program on Import-Export, focusing on Exim Policy, Documentation & Operations, from AMA - Center for International Trade (Govt. of Gujarat).

Moreover, Binaya Sabata has obtained various certifications related to Supply Chain Management. In 2015, they completed the Executive Development Program - Logistics & SCM from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, through iACT Global. In 2016, they underwent the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) *review course offered by APICS. Their most recent certification is the Certificate in Supply Chain Management Specialization from Rutgers University, which was obtained in 2020.
