Johan van der Westhuizen

Johan Van Der Westhuizen has a diverse work experience spanning different companies. Johan started their career at Deloitte as an Audit Clerk from 1998 to 2000. Johan then joined Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) as a Front Office Dealer from 2001 to 2009. Afterwards, they worked at AkzoNobel in various roles, including Director Control Treasury from 2009 to 2013, and sBU Controller Organometallic Specialties from 2013 to 2014. From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Director Control, Commercial Excellence and Americas at AkzoNobel Polymer Chemistry. In 2018, they joined AkzoNobel Chemicals as the Director Treasury and Insurance until September 2018. Johan then moved to Nouryon, where they served as the Director Treasury and Insurance from 2018 to March 2022, and currently holds the role of Director Finance Integrated Supply Chain.

Johan Van Der Westhuizen obtained a Bcom (Hons) degree in Accounting from the University of Pretoria from 1994 to 1997. Johan also pursued a degree in Chartered Accountant (CA (SA)) from the same university, but no specific start or end dates are provided.
