Roelof Ipema

Roelof Ipema has over two decades of experience in process technology, primarily within the fields of Chelates and Micronutrients in the business unit of Ethylene and Sulfur Derivatives. Since October 2018, Roelof has served as a Global Process Technologist at Nouryon, focusing on process development and improvement. Prior to that, Roelof worked at AkzoNobel for 18 years in various roles, including Global Process Technologist, PSM Development Manager, and Global Process Safety Specialist, contributing significantly to process safety management and operational improvement initiatives. Roelof began the career as a Process Technologist at multiple companies, including Philips and Nedmag B.V., where key contributions included optimizing processes and developing pilot plants. Roelof holds advanced degrees in Chemical Process Technology and Chemical Technology from the University of Twente.
