Sjoerd Smit

Sjoerd Smit is an accomplished professional in the chemical and crop nutrition industry with extensive experience in account management and technical roles. Currently serving as Global Key Account Manager for Micronutrients at Nouryon since October 2018, Sjoerd focuses on fostering relationships and supporting key accounts in the crop nutrition sector. Prior to Nouryon, Sjoerd worked at AkzoNobel from May 2007 to October 2018, where roles included Marketing Manager and Global Key Account Manager for Micronutrients, as well as Technical Service Manager and Process Technologist. Sjoerd started the career as a student recruiter at Ebbinge & Company and also completed an internship at DSM Composite Resins aimed at improving resin quality. Sjoerd holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Groningen.
