Claus Kristensen

Claus Kristensen currently serves as the Global Engineering Director at National Oilwell Varco, a position held since July 2019, after previously working as a Senior Technical Manager and Senior Engineer within the same company. Prior to this, Claus was with Statoil for several years, holding roles such as Leading Engineer Platform Technology and Leading Advisor for Dynamic Risers, where leadership was demonstrated in qualifying deep water marine concepts and providing technical authority on riser technology. Claus began the professional journey as a Project Engineer at JP Kenny A/S and progressed through engineering roles at NKT Flexibles, culminating in experience in design and project management of flexible riser systems. Claus holds a Master of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, obtained in 1997.
