Gustavo Vellinho

Gustavo Vellinho is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive expertise in petroleum and chemical engineering, currently serving as Technical Lead for Post-Salt and Pre-Salt contracts at NOV since April 2019. With a strong focus on pipe system design and thermodynamic evaluation, Gustavo has played a pivotal role in various engineering capacities, including coordinating complex technical tasks and interfacing across project, sales, technology, and R&D departments. Prior experience includes project coordination and chemical engineering roles at Radix Engenharia e Software and a research technician position at the Center of Excellence in Natural Gas/Coppetec Foundation. Gustavo holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and has completed postgraduate and undergraduate studies in Offshore Systems Engineering and Chemical Engineering, respectively.
