Julie Read is an experienced business and operations leader with a robust background in project management and strategic development. Currently serving as the Business & Operations Leader at Nova Education Trust since April 2020, Julie combines excellent commercial and interpersonal skills with a commitment to client-focused outcomes. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Groundwork West Midlands, where roles spanned from Operations Director to Youth, Education and Training Manager, contributing to community regeneration and vocational training initiatives. Julie also held the position of Service Delivery Manager at Business Link Staffordshire, managing substantial budgets, and began a professional career as a Credit Controller at Royal Doulton UK. Julie holds a BA Hons in Business Studies from Staffordshire University.
