Brendan Thompson

Brendan Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Brendan started their career at Peabody Energy as a Scholarship Intern in 2013 before moving to Aurizon as an Intern and later as an Undergraduate Analyst from 2012 to 2013. In 2012, Brendan also participated in the QUT International Business Case Competition, representing Queensland University of Technology and competing internationally.

From 2014, Brendan joined KPMG Australia where they held multiple roles, including Senior Accountant from February 2014 to November 2016, Executive from November 2016 to October 2018, and finally as a Manager from October 2018 to April 2020. At KPMG, Brendan gained experience in financial management and strategy.

Their most recent position is at NOVA Entertainment, where they serve as the Group Strategy Manager & Sydney Market Lead since April 2020.

Brendan Thompson pursued a Bachelor of Business with a focus on Accountancy at QUT (Queensland University of Technology). Brendan later obtained a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
