Jodie Williams has a range of work experience in the broadcasting industry. Jodie started their career as an Assistant Promotions at 6IX in 2014. In the same year, they worked as a Radio Announcer and Copywriter at 100.9 ZZZ FM. In 2015, they became a Workday Announcer and Music Director at 927 ZOO FM. Jodie then moved on to become a Drive Announcer and Music Director at Grant Broadcasters from 2016 to 2017. Jodie'smost recent position is as a Music Director for the NOVA Network nationally at NOVA Entertainment, starting in 2017. In this role, they are responsible for building a national music strategy, maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, and analyzing data to ensure relevance to the audience.

Jodie Williams attended Chipping Sodbury Secondary School from 2007 to 2011. However, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during this time. Later, in 2013, they enrolled at the Central Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Cert III Cert IV degree in the field of Radio. This program lasted until 2014. In February 2023, Jodie obtained the Future Women Platinum+: Emerging Leaders Program certification from Future Women.
