Willie Rowell is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and production management. Currently serving as Chief Production Officer and Head of Production at Nova Innovation since September 2016, Willie has previously held roles such as Senior Mechanical Engineer at Aquamarine Power, where responsibilities included the technical delivery of the Oyster wave energy converter. Additional experience includes positions at FMC Technologies as a Design Engineer, focusing on subsea oil and gas products, and at Babcock International Group as Systems Engineering Manager, overseeing various innovative projects within the offshore and naval sectors. Willie holds an EngD in Systems Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
