Nova Pioneer
Monique Mooij is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching Geography, currently serving as the Geography Lead Teacher and Senior Resident Teacher at Nova Pioneer since January 2017. In these roles, Monique plans and supervises enquiry-based lessons for Grade 11 to 13 students, integrating passion for learning to enhance student engagement and academic success. Previous experience includes positions as a Geography Resident Teacher for Grades 9 to 12 and a Grade 1 Apprentice Teacher, as well as roles in client services and sales. Monique holds a BA Hons in Geography from the University of Johannesburg, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, and has completed additional courses in Geography from esteemed institutions.
