Brendan Elliott

Brendan Elliott is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and content development. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Content and Media Relations at the Nova Scotia Health Authority since January 2020, Brendan is the primary contact for various media outlets and works to effectively share health-related information. Prior to this role, Brendan was a Senior Communications Advisor for Halifax Regional Municipality, providing strategic communication support and media relations expertise from March 2013 to January 2020. Brendan's journalism career began as a Crime Reporter at The Halifax Daily News and included positions as a general assignment reporter at The Chronicle Herald and a political reporter at CBC Radio. Brendan holds a degree in Journalism from Ryerson University, earned between 1988 and 1991.
