Shaun Dieltgens

Shaun Dieltgens, P. Eng, currently serves as the Director of Operational Readiness at Nova Scotia Health Authority, where responsibilities include integrating designers, architects, and clinical teams to enhance healthcare facilities in Cape Breton. Previously held roles include Manager of Operational Readiness and Industrial Engineer, focusing on the Cape Breton Redevelopment Project Team. Prior to this, Shaun worked at Irving Shipbuilding as Assistant Manager of Production Planning, managing large-scale scheduling and planning efforts, and developed key metrics for improving planning processes. Additional experience includes roles as Team Lead for Business Intelligence and Data Engineer, contributing to the implementation of ERP processes and verification of BOM data. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Dalhousie University, a Diploma of Engineering from Cape Breton University, and is pursuing an MBA at Cape Breton University, expected to be completed by May 2026.
