Michael Melenchuk

Mike Melenchuk is an accomplished executive and educator with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Lifesaving Society since June 2008, Mike has also held the position of Past President from 2012 to 2016. In academia, Mike has been an instructor at both the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University and Mount Saint Vincent University, teaching a wide array of courses in business management, human resources, and marketing from 2010 to 2023. Additionally, Mike held various managerial positions in different organizations, including VP Operations at Hearthstone Hospitality and General Manager at Ashley Ann Distributors, showcasing a strong background in operations and strategic planning. Mike holds an MBA specializing in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Saint Mary's University.
