Afnan Rudabe Rahman

Afnan Rudabe Rahman is a skilled SCADA Engineer In Training at Nova Scotia Power since July 2023, focusing on updating SCADA-EMS system displays and troubleshooting data flow issues. Previously, Afnan served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of New Brunswick from January 2020 to October 2023, where responsibilities included verifying data for Electric Vehicle load profiles, designing algorithms on MATLAB, and maintaining a database for Barbados Light & Power Company. Afnan has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for various engineering courses. Prior experience includes a role as an Engineer & Project Coordinator at Energypac Electronics Ltd, where Afnan prepared solar system designs and managed project documentation. Afnan holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BRAC University.
