Chayan Dias

Chayan Dias, EIT, is a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Nova Scotia Power, specializing in Customer and Grid Intelligence since August 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Data Engineer and Industrial Progress Engineer at Michelin, where Chayan developed ETL data pipelines and automated reporting processes utilizing tools like Python, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform. As the Founder and Project Director of Project Light It Up, Chayan designed a low-cost solar lighting system for impoverished families. Additional experience includes an Enterprise Resource Planner position at Ceccato Colombo, where logistics workflows were optimized, and an Operations Intern role at Wavenet. Chayan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and a Diploma of Engineering from Dalhousie University, alongside an International Baccalaureate Diploma from The Overseas School of Colombo.
