Sriram Iyer

Sriram Iyer has extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering, particularly in transmission lines and asset management. Currently serving as a Senior Transmission Lines Engineer at Nova Scotia Power since June 2022, Sriram previously held various engineering roles at SaskPower from January 2013 to May 2022, focusing on distribution and transmission asset management. Sriram started the career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan from January 2011 to December 2012. Academically, Sriram earned a Master of Science in Power Systems from the University of Saskatchewan, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University Chennai, and a certification as a CP1 Cathodic Protection Tester from NACE in 2019.
