Douglas Kalman Rd

Douglas Kalman PhD RD is a Clinical Associate Professor specializing in Sports Nutrition and Nutritional Neurosciences at Nova Southeastern University since 2017, where curriculum development includes undergraduate courses in both fields. Kalman has contributed to the NSU Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine as a Clinical Associate Professor, shaping future healthcare professionals. With extensive experience in the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics as a professional member since 1990, Kalman has held various leadership roles and provided expertise in sports nutrition. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at the Natural Products Association, Vice President of Scientific Affairs at Nutrasource, and Director of Sports Nutrition for Florida International University's Athletics Department. Kalman holds a PhD in Exercise and Nutritional Biochemistry, along with MS and BS degrees in Nutrition and Food & Nutrition, respectively.
