Frank Martinez

Frank Martinez has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Frank started their career as a Senior IT & Security Trainer at The Academy-Miami, delivering training on various industry solutions. Frank also served as the Director of Education, managing an IT training organization.

Frank then worked at the City of Doral as a Senior Network Analyst, where they designed and maintained network infrastructure. Frank later joined Renegade Networks as an IT Consultant, providing consulting services in technology and information services.

Frank also worked at Citrix as a Senior Technical Specialist, administering and supporting cloud-based lab delivery and developing training courseware. Frank then joined Miami Dade College as an IT Security Analyst and later became the Lead InfoSec Admin.

Currently, Frank serves as the Executive Director and Chief Information Security Officer at Nova Southeastern University, where they oversee information security strategies and operations.

Frank Martinez obtained a Master's degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Penn State College of Information Sciences and Technology in 2019. Frank also obtained a Master's degree in Cyber Security from Penn State World Campus in the same year. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University in 2017. In 2012, they completed MCITP 2008 in Information Technology from The Academy of South Florida. Frank also holds several certifications including Citrix Certified Associate - Networking (CCA - N) from Citrix in 2015.
