Nick Jones

Nick Jones is an accomplished marine biologist and research scientist with extensive experience in marine ecology and conservation. Currently employed at Nova Southeastern University since January 2016, Nick has held roles including Research Scientist, Postdoctoral Researcher, and Graduate Research Assistant. Previous positions include Marine Monitoring Officer at the Environment Agency, where Nick contributed to the placement of Marine Conservation Zones, and Marine Biologist at Seamester, leading undergraduate courses in marine biology. Notable projects also include initiating a coral reef restoration project in Seychelles and conducting research on Great White sharks in South Africa. Nick holds a PhD in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Master's degree in Marine Biology from the same institution and an MSCi in Marine Sciences from the University of Southampton.
