David Garotti

David Garotti is an experienced professional currently serving as a Project Technical Lead on the Southern Positioning Augmentation Network (SouthPAN) project at Airservices Australia since August 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Lead for the Internal sub systems verification team within Thales OneSKY, where David also provided project management support for the Civil Military Air Traffic Management System. Previous positions at the Department of Defence involved verification and validation engineering for various land platform programs. An educator in mathematics and science at Norwood Secondary College, David holds multiple qualifications, including a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from RMIT University and a Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education from La Trobe University. Continuing education includes leadership and systems engineering courses from the University of Melbourne and UNSW.
