Katya Moiseeva is a PhD Candidate in Criminology, Law and Society at the University of California, Irvine, and also pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology at the Higher School of Economics. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Lomonosov Moscow State University, a Master's degree in Sociology from the European University at St. Petersburg, and experience as a Fulbright Scholar at Boston University. Professional experience encompasses roles as a Refugee Support member at Nova Ukraine since May 2022 and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Kennan Institute in summer 2018.
