Cristian García Fernández

Cristian García Fernández has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. In 2014, they worked as a Global Risk Management professional at BBVA, where they analyzed credit risk indicators and created a VBA programming dashboard. Cristian then joined the Inter-American Development Bank in 2015 as a Consultant, contributing to evaluations and budget analysis. In 2016, they became a Risk & Technology Analyst at BBVA. Moving forward, they worked at Grupo Nakima as a Product and Growth professional, executing projects, managing key accounts, and developing marketing strategies. Cristian then joined Banco Santander in 2019 as a Product Manager, where they played a pivotal role in creating a new app and overseeing development teams. In 2023, they founded BULLSHIT, a comedy tabletop game. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Product Officer at Nova Talent.

Cristian García Fernández attended Ironhack from 2017 to 2018, where they completed a Web Development Bootcamp in the field of Informática. Prior to that, they obtained a postgraduate degree in Risk Management from CUNEF in 2016. Cristian also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, which they attained from 2011 to 2014. In terms of additional certifications, Cristian has received training in Data Visualization from Multiplica, and in Software processes and Agile Practices from the University of Alberta.
