Julie Pitrat

Julie Pitrat has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies.

Julie started their career as a Biotechnology Engineer at INRA French National Institute for Agricultural Research, where they studied lignolytic enzymes and conducted experimental analysis.

After that, they worked at Business France (Export) as a Junior Trade Advisor in North America and later as a Trade Advisor in Biotechnology, specializing in North America.

Julie then joined The Galien Foundation as a part of the founding team for Prix Galien USA/MedStartup.

Moving on, they returned to Business France (Export) as a Senior Trade Advisor and eventually became the Head of Biotechnology Division for North America.

Their next step was joining Novadiscovery, a health-tech company specialized in clinical trial simulation as a Business Development Manager and later as a Director of Business Development.

Currently, they hold the position of Executive Director of Business Development at Novadiscovery, overseeing their global sales and marketing strategy.

Julie Pitrat completed their Bachelor's degree in BCPST from Centre universitaire de Formation et de Recherche Jean-François Champollion between 2007 and 2009. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Biotechnology from ESIL (Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Luminy) from 2009 to 2012. Concurrently, they also completed a second Master's degree in International Business from KEDGE Business School between 2010 and 2012.
