Jennifer Raffrenato

Jennifer Raffrenato has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Jennifer started their career as a Chemistry laboratory intern at the National Research Council (CNR) in 2013, where they studied antimicrobial additives for polymeric materials. Jennifer used techniques such as TGA, DSC, HPLC, and 1H NMR to analyze the polymers.

After that, Jennifer worked as an odor field inspector at OSMOTECH S.r.l., where they were part of a team monitoring odor annoyance generated by an oil refinery. This involved field inspections to determine odors in ambient air.

Jennifer then joined the University of Catania as a research assistant, focusing on synthesizing analogues of polyphenols. Their responsibilities included conducting biomimetic reactions and analyzing the compounds using HPLC-UV, column chromatography purification, and various spectroscopic techniques.

Jennifer also worked as a chemistry laboratory tutor, providing support to undergraduate students at the University of Catania. Jennifer assisted students in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry, helping them enhance their understanding of the subject.

Jennifer led internal project teams, ensuring timely communication and delivery. Jennifer also monitored project progress and managed revenue recognition and forecasts.

Jennifer's current work experience includes their role as a Project Manager at Novai, where they are responsible for managing projects and overseeing project communications and delivery.

Jennifer Raffrenato's education history begins with their obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Food and Environmental Toxicology from the Università di Catania, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. Jennifer then pursued a Master's degree in Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry at the same university, completing it from 2014 to 2017. Afterward, they achieved the status of a Chartered Chemist (CChem) from the Italian Ministry of Education, which was obtained by 2020.

In addition to their academic degrees, Jennifer has obtained several certifications. Jennifer completed courses in GCP (Good Clinical Practice) - IMP management and Introduction to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) eLearning from the NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research) in March 2023. Jennifer also obtained a First Aid at Work certification from St Johns Ambulance in October 2018.
