Louis G.

Louis G. has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Louis currently holds the position of Chief Research Officer (CRO) at NovaKamp since November 2022. Before joining NovaKamp, they served as the Directeur de laboratoire ENGIE Lab Nanotech and Sensors at ENGIE from November 2016 to November 2022. In this role, they were responsible for identifying business opportunities, scouting for new technologies, developing and testing products, and creating high-value proposals for the company and its partners. Louis also worked as a Research Engineer at ENGIE from November 2013 to November 2016, where they contributed to technology scouting, value creation, business modeling, contracting, licensing, and technology development in the areas of power and fluids transportation, distribution, valorization, production, and energy storage.

Prior to their tenure at ENGIE, Louis worked as a Nanotechnology consultant for Gdf Suez at AUSY from February 2012 to November 2013. Louis also gained valuable experience during their PhD at Thales and Ecole Polytechnique, where they focused on developing gas sensors based on carbon nanotube transistors and achieved successful fabrication of thousands of sensors. Louis also co-founded PhDTalent, an association aimed at organizing an international Career Fair in Paris, where they served as the CoFounder and COO from November 2009 to October 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Trainee at LETI from October 2006 to August 2007.

Louis G. began their education at Lycée Marcelin Berthelot, where they completed their undergraduate studies in science from 1998 to 2004. Louis then attended Ecole centrale de Lyon from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a French Engineer top school degree with a focus on nanotechnology.

In 2007 and 2008, Louis pursued further education at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, completing a Master of Science degree in Electronics. Following this, from 2008 to 2011, they enrolled in École Polytechnique to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in nanotechnology.

Louis also undertook a Doctoral Program in management from École des Ponts Business School in 2010, specializing in management, marketing, innovation, and strategy.

In 2021, they attended Ecole Polytechnique Executive Education, where they completed a program in Organiser et piloter le processus d'innovation, focusing on project management.
