Michiel Verboven has a strong background in the lottery industry, with extensive experience in marketing and management roles. Michiel began their career as a marketing coordinator at Nationale Postcodeloterij in 2002, where they worked until 2006. Michiel then took on the role of Marketing Manager at Sponsor Bingo Loterij from 2007 to 2009. From 2010 to 2012, Michiel served as the Marketing Manager for Nationale Postcode Loterij. Michiel then advanced to become the Managing Director for Nationale Postcode Loterij, BankGiro Loterij, and VriendenLoterij from 2013 to 2020. Currently, Michiel holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Novamedia since 2020, where they focus on charity lotteries and contributing to a better world.
Michiel Verboven completed their education with a master's degree in marketing management from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, where they attended from 1995 to 2000. Michiel also attended INSEAD in 2012 for a program in Leading for Results and IMD in 2016 for High Performance Leadership.
