Shahar Bassan

Shahar Bassan is an experienced Electronics and Motion Control Engineer with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Motion Control & Electronics Group leader at Nova Measuring Instruments since December 2010, Shahar oversees the technical and managerial aspects of complex systems, including specifications, vendor selection, POD, and system integration. Prior to this role, Shahar was self-employed as an Electronics Engineer, specializing in board design and writing low-level drivers. With earlier experience as a Motion Control Engineer at Applied Materials, Shahar contributed to the development of active isolation systems and high-accuracy XYZ stages. Educational qualifications include studies at Tel Aviv University and Ort Holon.
