Adam Galat

Adam Galat serves as the Director and Assistant General Counsel at Novant Health since April 2024. Prior to this role, Adam was an Attorney at Gardner Skelton PLLC from August 2023 to April 2024 and held the position of Corporate Counsel at CaroMont Health between February 2021 and July 2023. Adam's extensive experience includes being a Partner at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP from April 2012 to February 2021, focusing on healthcare, commercial and business litigation, and appellate litigation. Earlier in Adam's career, a Judicial Clerk position was held at the Tenth District Court of Appeals from February 2009 to April 2012, and a Staff Attorney role was undertaken at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas from March 2007 to February 2009. Adam earned a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Toledo College of Law between 2003 and 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University from 2000 to 2003.
