Darron Shanks

Darron Shanks possesses extensive experience in the recovery and mental health fields. Currently serving as a Recovery Specialist at Valley Forge Medical Center and Hospital since July 2015, Darron aids individuals in recovery processes. In the role of Certified Recovery Specialist, responsibilities include promoting active engagement in treatment and long-term recovery through peer support. Darron has also worked as a mental health worker at Novant Health since December 2012 and shortly as a mental health worker/CNA at Eagleville Hospital from January 2015 to July 2015. Darron earned an Associate's degree in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Montgomery County Community College, completing the program in 2020.
