Steven Freeman-Muhammad

Steven Freeman-Muhammad, PharmD, MSMIS, currently serves as the Manager of Pharmacy Operations for Novant Health, overseeing teams focused on pharmacy automation, business analytics, and informatics since July 2019. Prior experience includes several managerial roles at Brookwood Baptist Health, where responsibilities encompassed the transition to electronic health records and clinical support for various pharmacy systems. Steven held staff pharmacist positions at Walgreens and Rite Aid, providing medication management and patient counseling. Academically, Steven earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from Shenandoah University, a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from UAB Collat School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
