Charlie Webster

Mr. Webster was appointed Executive Vice President, Novanta Growth System and Global Supply Chain in July 2019. The Novanta Growth System (“NGS”) is a set of common tools and processes that enable performance improvement in all areas of the business including customer satisfaction, gross margins, inventory management, and the efficiency of the manufacturing sites. Mr. Webster joined Novanta [Nasdaq: NOVT] in June 2016 as President and General Manager of Synrad. Prior to Novanta, Mr. Webster had a 25-year career in finance, operations, and general management. He served as Chief Financial Officer at several public and private companies and held various executive leadership roles in the energy, semiconductor, and technology industries with firms including KLA-Tencor [Nasdaq: KLAC], Bechtel, and Xperi [Nasdaq: XPER] (formerly known as Tessera).

Mr. Webster holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics from Stanford University and a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University.
