David Speck has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. David began their career as an Auditor at Anchor Savings Bank in 1990, before joining IBM as an Accountant in 1991. After a few years, they transitioned into the healthcare field, working as a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department at Emergency Medical Associates from 1997 to 2002. David then joined Merck as a Medical Program Clinical Specialist in 2000, specializing in Clinical Immunology & Analgesia. In 2004, David joined Novartis as a Senior Clinical Research Scientist/Clinical Trial Leader and subsequently held various roles, including CRO Manager and Project Manager. Most recently, they have served as the Head of Clinical Contracting, Audits & Inspections at Novartis. David's expertise lies in clinical procurement management, outsourcing management, and clinical research.

David Speck earned their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Rutgers University - Newark in 1990. David then pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Medicine/Physician Assistant from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey between 1994 and 1997. In between, they also completed a Minor in Biology, General at Rutgers University - Newark from 1993 to 1994.
