Amanda Cobos is currently the Associate Director of Biomedical Research-Discovery Sciences at Novartis. They previously served as a Senior Principal Scientist and Lab Head in Screening Sciences at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from 2020 to 2023. Earlier in their career, Amanda completed a postdoctoral fellowship at EMBL from 2009 to 2011 and was a predoctoral fellow at EMBL and the University of Heidelberg from 2006 to 2009 after earning a PhD in Natural Sciences. They hold multiple degrees, including an MBA and a Master’s in Chemistry, and are pursuing an EMBA in Leadership across Cultures.
