Elena Vita

Elena Vita is a Senior Scientist at Novartis since May 2016, specializing in the analytical characterization of cell therapy products and intermediates through Flow Cytometry, while also contributing to lab instrument and infrastructure maintenance. Prior experience includes a role as a Medical Technologist in Flow Cytometry at BioReference Laboratories from 2011 to April 2016, where Elena performed leukemia-lymphoma immunophenotyping and was responsible for sample preparation and data analysis, in addition to maintaining equipment. Earlier, as a Medical Technologist in Molecular Diagnostics at BioReference Laboratories, Elena played a significant role in the development and validation of the GenCerv HPV assay and supervised department employees. Elena holds a Master's of Science in Biology and a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Chemistry, both from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
