Sylvain Beltzung

Sylvain Beltzung serves as the Vice President of Finance and CFO for Europe at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) since December 2012. With extensive experience in managing country financials, Sylvain focuses on unlocking sales growth drivers, optimizing resource allocations, improving net profitability, ensuring compliance, and developing talent roadmaps. Prior roles at Novartis include Head of Business Planning and Analysis for the Asia Cluster and Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting for Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Earlier experiences at Novartis involved responsibilities in global financial planning and accounting, where Sylvain managed a monthly 30 billion USD P&L and engaged in strategic planning. Previous positions held at KPMG and Arthur Andersen included audit and financial advisory roles for major corporations. Sylvain holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Grenoble Ecole de Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Economics from Université Louis Pasteur.
