Uroš Makovec

Uroš Makovec is an experienced professional in supply chain IT and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Strategic Business Partner Supply Chain IT at Novartis since April 2017. Previously held roles include Business Process Expert in Production Planning Integration and Global eCompliance Manager. Uroš has substantial experience with Sandoz, where responsibilities included Regional eCompliance Manager and Project Manager for Track and Trace, overseeing compliance and project management for serialization and counterfeiting programs. Uroš began a career in quality assurance and IT roles at Lek Pharmaceuticals and Lek d.d., along with project management experience at E-laborat d.o.o. and programming work at GfK. Uroš holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Social Informatics from the University of Ljubljana.
