Michael Obrien

Michael O'Brien is an accomplished technology executive and academic with extensive experience in machine learning, data analytics, and neuroscience. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at BLOK SPORTS and holding director-level roles at Blacklight Surgical, Inc. and Cedars-Sinai, O'Brien also works as a Principal Data Scientist at Neural Analytics. Previous positions include Research Scientist at HRL Laboratories, where contributions were made to projects for IARPA and DARPA, and Adjunct Professor at Claremont McKenna College. O'Brien holds a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Mathematics, specializing in Computational Neuroscience, from UCLA, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College.
