Kessa Early has worked as the Principal of Alternative Education at the Novato Unified School District. Kessa was also the founder of Early Vibes Incorporated, a nonprofit organization that focuses on empowering youth to make positive lifestyle choices.
Kessa Early has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Sonoma State University, obtained in 2000. In 2001, they earned a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Health Science from Dominican University. Later, in 2007, they completed an Administrative Service Credential (PASC I and II) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Sonoma State University. Kessa then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership, which they received from Sonoma State University in 2010. Currently, Kessa is a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership and Administration at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Education, expecting to complete their doctoral studies in 2024.
