Lauren Menchavez

Lauren Menchavez has a strong background in education and school leadership. Lauren is currently serving as a School Principal at Novato Unified School District since 2023. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Vice Principal at Venetia Valley K-8 School from 2017 to 2023. Lauren also has experience as a Faculty Member at Reach Institute for School Leadership from 2014 to 2017. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Principal at Rocketship Education in 2013. Lauren started their career in education as a Lead Humanities Teacher at ACE Charter Schools from 2009 to 2012. Lauren is also a Teach For America Corps Member, where they served from 2007 to 2009. During that time, they worked as a Teacher at Escuela Popular.

Lauren Menchavez attended Princeton University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government. Lauren then pursued a Master's degree in Education from Alliant International University from 2007 to 2010. Finally, they attended Reach University from 2011 to 2013, where they focused on Administrative Services.
