Michael K. Snyder has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Starting in 1986, they worked as a Programmer Analyst at Siemens Healthcare, where they developed hospital information systems. From 1989 to 1993, they served as a Computer Scientist at Computer Sciences Corporation, focusing on the development of the Navy's submarine combat system. In 1993, Michael co-founded Benchmark Communications, where they served as the Director of Data Processing, overseeing the introduction of pre-paid phone cards to the convenience store market. In 2003, they transitioned to working as a SAS Programming Consultant at GlaxoSmithKline, then moved on to several other pharmaceutical companies such as Wyeth/Pfizer, sanofi-aventis, and Amgen, providing expertise in SAS programming. Currently, they are employed as the Lead Clinical Safety Programmer at Novavax starting in 2022.
Michael K. Snyder attended Penn State University from 1982 to 1986 where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 2003, they briefly attended Philadelphia University, but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study.
