Mitali M.

Mitali M. currently serves as the Head of R&D Finance and Capital Expenditure and has held the position of Sr Director of R&D Finance at Novavax since February 2021. Prior to this, Mitali was the Associate Director of Finance at Viela Bio from March 2019 to December 2020 and spent almost a decade at Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where Mitali advanced from Accounting Manager to Sr. Accountant II. Early career experience includes roles as a Financial Analyst at BT and GE in 2008. Mitali’s expertise encompasses project management of outsourced processes, ERP implementation, payroll management, treasury functions, month-end closes, and SEC reporting, alongside coaching and mentoring accounting teams. Mitali holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Calcutta University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Goenka College of Commerce & Business Administration.
