Juan Ignacio Acosta

Juan Ignacio Acosta is a seasoned professional in the fields of performing arts, education, and cultural advocacy, currently serving as the Fundador and Director General at Las Ilusiones since 2008. Acosta has a diverse background that includes authoring innovative books that integrate art and health, and teaching theater and cultural programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities at various organizations, such as Fundación Prodis and Fundación A LA PAR. With experience as a university professor in theatre and special education, and involvement in inclusivity initiatives within the Government of Buenos Aires, Acosta effectively promotes cultural engagement and creativity among underrepresented communities. Educational qualifications include a Licentiate in Scenic Direction from Universidad Nacional de las Artes and multiple certifications in communication, special education, and therapeutic support.
