Roy Kolkman

Roy Kolkman currently serves as the Director of the Knowledge Transfer Office at Novel-T, University of Twente, focusing on technology transfer, business development, and fostering entrepreneurial researchers. With extensive experience in high-tech systems and medical technology, Roy has held various leadership roles, including Managing Director at the High Tech Fund and advisory positions in related organizations. Expertise in intellectual property management and technology transfer was developed during a tenure at the University of Twente, complemented by a strong educational background with a Master of Science in Applied Physics. Roy has also conducted significant research in photoacoustic imaging as both a postdoctoral fellow and PhD student, contributing to advancements in medical imaging techniques.
