Adwait Thakur

Adwait Thakur is a seasoned professional in the recycling and metals industry, currently serving as a Strategy Manager at Novelis since February 2016. Responsibilities include leading recycling initiatives for strategic growth, developing cost-optimized metal input strategies, and managing third-party metal processing projects. Prior roles at Novelis include Recycling Project Lead, Senior Process Engineer, and Process Engineer, where Adwait has focused on sustainability goals, capital initiatives, equipment specification development, and automation system support. Previous experience includes freelancing in CCTV installation and maintenance, as well as internships at Reliance Infrastructure and NICE Consultancy, which provided exposure to SCADA systems and instrumentation engineering.
