Heer Angra

Heer Angra has extensive experience in the field of learning and development, with a focus on technical talent and organizational development. Currently, as the Global Head of Technical Learning and Development at Novelis, Heer provides leadership and guidance to business leaders on employee development practices and oversees global technical talent development processes. Prior to this, Heer served as the General Manager of the Management Development Center at Murugappa Group, where they developed learning and training programs for the company's global entities. They also worked at Telenor as the Head of Organizational Development & Change, where they redesigned the performance management philosophy and launched a global diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative. Earlier in their career, Heer held roles at the UK government, Sodexo, and Old World Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., focusing on learning and development, training, and quality enhancement.

Heer Angra has a diverse educational background. Heer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management and Applied Sciences from the Institute Of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Guwahati in 2003. In 2018, they pursued a degree in Strategic Leadership from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, specializing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Additionally, they completed a Design Thinking program from INSEAD in 2017, focusing on innovation. Heer Angra also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained in 2022.

In terms of certifications, Heer Angra has various qualifications. Heer obtained certifications in fields such as Organizational Learning and Development, Talent Management, Agile Leadership, CSR Auditor Certification, Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Assessor, Certified DISC Practitioner, and HR Analytics, among others.
