Monica Kapoor is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in materials science and engineering. Currently serving as Lead Scientist at Novelis since March 2019, Monica has previously held positions such as Senior Metallurgical Scientist and Research Scientist at the University of Florida. Prior roles include an ORISE Post Doc Fellowship at the National Energy Technology Laboratory and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Alabama. With a strong background in atom probe tomography and alloy development, Monica specializes in composition analysis, nano-crystalline stability, and designing shape memory alloys. Academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University and a B.E. in Plastic Technology from Gujarat University. As a former visiting faculty member at L.D. College of Engineering, Monica has contributed to both research and education in the field.
